Safetytext is a unique delayed text messaging system designed to keep you, your family and friends safe when out and about. The service allows you to leave a delayed message saying where you are going, what you are doing and who with . If you do not return within your chosen time and cancel the message, it is automatically sent to your chosen friend or relative. How do you use Safetytext? There are two ways. First you can register on the Safetytext website. Then you can: Subscribe to the service by credit/debit card and for every £5.00 you receive 15 credits charged at 33p each (plus your normal text rate). Or, when registered, you can pay as you go direct from your mobile phone. Each Safetytext will be charged at 50p (plus normal text rate). Second you can set up Safetytext direct from your phone by texting 63344. Simply choose how long you want to delay the message, who you want to send it to and what you want to say and you are done. Message e.g. ‘et (space) 4 (space) phonenumberyouwanttosendto (Space) message’.
